His Excellency James G. Bwana, the Ambassador of Tanzania to the Republic of South Africa, stands proudly with the Tanzanian team at the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO 2024), hosted at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Tanzania achieved a remarkable feat, earning four bronze medals at this esteemed competition, organized by the Tanzania Mathematics Association (CHAHITA). The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) is honored to have sponsored the students, enabling them to compete and secure a third-place finish. This accomplishment has brought international recognition to Tanzania for its excellence in Mathematics.
